Wasatch Backcountry Light Contours

The Wasatch Mountains of Utah boast the best snow on earth for good reason. With season totals often reaching 500 inches and an average snow density that most places can only dream of, the Cottonwood Canyons are home to an epic winter backcountry playground.

This 32" x 40" map captures the terrain of Millcreek, Big Cottonwood and Little Cottonwood Canyons. We've created 40 ft contour lines using the most up-to-date elevation data available, combined with a light subtle shading to bring out the ruggedness of the terrain. The map contains labels for over 1,000 commonly skied lines along with the major peaks and ridge lines.
